Hello, I'm very interested in studying and living in Canada. For me it seems like a great country not only to study in, but for living. So I have many doubts and I have done my researches also, but I also want to hear the opinion of the people that live there in Canada, came across this forum, and decided to post my doubts.

Im very interested in studying my career in Canada and after that maybe even staying there to live and becoming a citizen. Right now I'm interested in engineering, haven't decided yet if aerospace or mechatronics engineering, because they say that there are very little job offerings on aerospace, but I love all that involves something flying, specially planes (I have even thought on becoming a pilot, but maybe just for hobby); so I wanted to know is there are many jobs for aerospace engineering (Bombardier maybe? :P), and what are some good universities for studying those careers, and if there are scholarships and what are the requirements to apply for them. Also what would it cost me to live there while studying, and if after finishing my studies I'd like to stay there to live, is it possible for me to become a citizen and get a job in my career there?

I'm still in high school, and am still about year and a half from finishing it, but I want to prepare from early, so that I can already have a decision when I finish high school. As of speaking, I think I don't have any troubles, I have a very good level in english, and I'm also willing to learn french anytime soon.

yes it is possible. You are on the right way pal. keep going.

Ok, thanks. But still does some one knows the answer to some of my questions? I really want to know for example which of those careers have more jobs offers, and what universities are good for studying them, scholarships, etc.

The top two schools for engineering are Waterloo and University of Toronto.

Assume that you will either not get a scholarship at all - or that the scholarship amount will be so low that it won't make much impact. Most scholarships are reserved for Canadians. Foreign students are expected to pay their own way.

You will pay higher tuition fees as an international student than a Canadian student. Engineering is a 4-5 year program. The University of Toronto (for example) has tuition fees that are around $32K per year for engineering (approx $130K for a four year program). On top of tuition you will also need additional funds for living expenses (CIC expects you to have an additional $10K per year to cover living expenses).
