hey guys, im confused again...is my husband supposed to write his name, birthdate and date the photos were taken on the back of the 8 photos? i see that some people do it and some people do not, i cant see anything in the mexican guide that says to write anything on the back...thanks!

I didn't think that I had to write on the passport photos but then my GCMS notes said "passport photos with no biodata". So that suggests that they were expecting biodata. I would also like to know exactly what details to include in case they ask me to resend the photos with biodata.

i had to write all that on the back of each photo (8 ) because my country specific guide told me to (eastern Europe).

i looked in your guide (latin America) and it doesn't mention anything about writing on the back of the photos.. i think you should be fine.

basketballfan, which VO are you applying through?

We applied through South Africa. I just checked the guide (good idea ;) )and it doesn't seem to require this information for Africa either so odd that the CIC-M would make specific mention of this information missing.

woah that's curious! they don't ask you to in the guide, but CIC mentions it in the GCMS notes.. maybe biodata refers to something else? i have no idea.

on the back of each photo, i wrote my name, date of birth + date when the photo was taken..

and also curious they said "passport photos" ... lol they take every chance to specifically tell you that "immigration photos are not passport photos" ???
