I was wondering, would it be possible to apply trough an office such as Paris, with the purpose of getting a lower time for the sponsorship approval? I'm not European but I do have a Schengen visa with about 8 months left.
You cannot choose the office CIC will send your application to. CIC will either choose your country of nationality or your country of residence. They will usually only pick the country of residence if you were admitted there with a visa good for one year or more.
