Applying for work permit with my wife who is also willing to work in Canada.

Hi guys!

It is my first time to apply in Canada and I would like to bring my wife and daughter with me. What things do I need to prepare in order for me to be able to land there? Also, I am required to use my passport all the time in the work that I do in my home country. Is there a way that I can still get a visa? Thanks in advance to all who will answer my inquiry.

Even I along with my wife (no kids yet) wish to take up a job in Canada. It's for the first time that I'll apply.
I'm a software engineer by profession and have a work experience of more than 4 years with a MNC. I also hold a MBA specialised in Information Technology. My wife is a HR generalist and has a rich experience in recruitment and all related work, of over 5years.

Hi, check nyo po CIC.GC website or tumawag kayo sa Canadian Embassy sa Manila medyo detailed kasi requirement may karamihan pero madali lang nmn i fulfill basta dapat married kayo ng wife mo and ready po kau ng proof of fund. Goodluck po

You guys need to get the offer from Canadian employer and then your employer needs to get LMO approved from service Canada, followed by work permit. The process might take at least 6 months in the current situation. But, Canada is worth waiting. As iOS developers are in demand, you might pull up a job. As software engineers come under high skilled category, your spouse will also get an open work permit an option to work anywhere.

Look for opportunities in www.workbc.ca (filter opportunities by TFW) and try searching for jobs and explore in other province sites also.

Punta ka po ng Mercan dyan sa Pinas baka po qualified kayo under federal skilled worker para po landed kayo agad pagdating ng Canada. If hindi po kayo qualified under FSW kailangan nyo po muna ng job offer from a Canadian Employer. Try nyo po dito maghanap www.jobbank.gc.ca para po direct hire walang placement fee.
