Applying for visit visa while waiting for spousal visa to be approved

hello, I just wanted to know what are the requirements to apply for visit visa and the procedures. Thank you.

Spouses are exempt from income requirements so he can apply to sponsor you now. Visit visas are often denied for spouses because they believe you are a risk of overstaying but you can try.

Currently 36 days in Mississauga + however many months it says here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp for your country. That is for 80% of applications though so yours could be a bit faster.
