Applying for student visa while also interested in Express Entry

I have heard that student visas will be rejected if they think you want to stay in Canada permanently. I do want to become a PR, and my Canadian degree will give me 30 more points toward express entry. Can I say that on my visa application? Or should I try to hide it?
