Hey Guys,
I have recently got married last month and my husband is Canadian PR. We are confused whether to apply for Visiting first or Spouse visa first?

Five years back I had applied for visiting and student visa but I was rejected because my parents lives there so tie is stronger there.

I am currently pursuing my masters degree in India, so some says that now you have reason to show with bonafied certificate that due ongoing degree you will return back to India, so that enhances my probability of getting visa.

On the other hand, people also suggested that during spouse visa application process even if I get my visiting visa rejected it won't affect my file process. But still we are not sure which one to apply first? Now, as per your suggestion what do you suggest?

If you're already married, it doesn't matter much as you will have a reduced chance of receiving a temporary resident visa unless you have a lot of proof that you will return to India after your visit. You must declare your husband as family on your temporary resident visa, and your parents. There will be considerable indications of risk of overstaying in Canada. Be prepared to have a lot of explanation of why you will leave Canada and why this time is different from the last time you applied, despite developing more ties to Canada.
