My husband is an international student, currently holding a valid Study Permit until next year (August 2019). I am planning to apply for a Spouse Open Work Permit from UAE (as I am currently residing and working here) by December however, we just found out that I'm pregnant (like for 5-6 weeks). As I know that this application would include x-ray and this will be prohibited for pregnant women, what are the chances that I could still apply for and be granted of this open work permit? Do they still grant spouse open work permit even if they come to know from your medical that you're pregnant? Would you suggest for an inland application instead? I have a multiple entry tourist visa and I was in Canada just this month. Please help, as it would be very ideal to be with your husband during this pregnancy journey.
