Applying for spousal Visa and extention of stay on a visitors visa

Hi all,

Please could you help me. I am applying for a spousal visa but haven't submitted it yet (almost there).
I also to need to extend my visitors visa as this expires in March. Do i need to mention to them that I am applying for spousal visa at all? I am unable to show them proof of support as i am not allowed to work here and i don't have a bank account but my husband does and he supports me. WIll a letter from him be adequate for support?

Hi

It's a bit early to apply for a visitor extension if your status doesn't expire until March. IRCC recommends 30 days, though you can apply up until your status actually expires.

Yes, explain that you are applying for PR. Include the PR fee receipt and proof of funds (husband's letter and payslips or bank statements)

Thank you so much for the help I will hold off applying until next month then and by then I should have submitted my PR application.
