Hi
I think for QSW IELTS is not required but u need to pass DELF A level certification
Good Luck

For QSW, you need to provide the proof of the language either French or English. This can be provided in the form of a letter from a university where you have studied in French or English, from your employer where you have worked in English or French environment or in the form of a test result e.g, TOEFL/IELTS for English - DELF, TEFQ for French.

You may assess yourself here:

Instructions:

Thanks

You may preliminarily evaluate your file following this link..

good luck.

French is necessary. It gives you more point [up to 16] where as the highest point you can get with English language is 6.But you can apply without a test resul but should endevor to learn French as you MAY be required to submit a test result later on.If you score enough points now without it, then go ahead and apply.

Is french score necessary to apply for CSQ Quebec ? or only IELTS is required ?

As talk2meals told you that French is necessary but not required. If you are serious with you success in Quebec you need to learn French one way or another. Cheers
