Hello , I have submitted my passport in India and it has gone for final processing to IRCC. My query is can I immediately apply for PRTD after I get my CopR. The reason being I need to serve my notice with current organization before I can travel and it can take more that 90 days. Any help or guidance on the process will be highly appreciated as I am expecting final response from IRCC any time now . ( My spouse in Canada has already got COPR )

You would need to travel to Canada first and become a PR before you can submit the PRTD application. You can't submit the PRTD application just based on your COPR since you won't be a PR yet.

The validity of the COPR and visa you'll be issued will usually have more than 90 days. (You may have seen date on the activity tracker, or the date of one-year from date of medical is often used).

So serve your notice and travel after the 90 days is done. No need for PRTD at all.

Does that answer your question? Or did I misunderstand your question?

Thanks for the reply .
So I had done medical on last week of March 2023 and my spouse as well .
My spouse, who is already in Canada , has received a CoPR with validity till 2nd April 2024 .
So should I expect my COPR validity , whenever it arrives , so be of same date ?

Can you help me understand How I can evaluate what will be my possible CopR validity date

Yes, it will likely be the same date as your spouse's since you did the medicals on the same day.
