I sincerely need a professional advice.
I am married with kids. I have concluded to retain my maiden (family) name after marriage and my husband is okay with it.
Now I want to initiate PR Visa processing, but I don't know if there won't be problem along the line, as me and my husband bear different family names.
Will we be regarded as husband and wife, though our children bear his family name?
Kindly guide me.
I appreciate you.

Do you have a marriage certificate? Having different names is not an issue, many people keep their maiden names.

This is Canada. It is your right to keep your name, regardless of whether your husband is OK with it or not. It does not make you any less married.
