I am a Non-immigrant in United States. I completed my Master's level education and am currently pursuing internship. I am wondering how I can apply for PR in Canada, without even entering Canada even once. Is it really possible?

Also, if I get a PR, do I have to stay in Canada forever? Please guide me with this. Thank you.
 
You can apply for Canadian PR from outside Canada. However once you are granted PR, you will have to enter Canada (land) within a specific period of time to make your status official. Once you have landed and have made your PR status official, you will then have to live in Canada two out of every five years to retain your PR status.
