Hi everyone, I am supposed to be graduating this December and applying for PG work permit later on. But I planned to travel back to my country in Mid January 2017 ( for 2 months) so I really need your advises for these 2 possibilities : ( what is wrong with these 2 and what should I do if happens)
1. If my college is able to provide me with my letter of graduation, I apply for PG work permit before I travel back to my country ( since my visa and study permit are still valid until July 2017). And I can return to Canada , pick up my work permit and extend my visa. ( for this point I am just wondering if it is ok for me to return to Canada after I graduate and the customs will not question me for that )
2. If I could not get my letter before I go and hence be not able to apply for work permit ( I have to leave in Mid Jan and the school provides me at the end of Jan) , I can do it from outside of Canada and get the paper while I stay in my home country. And when i return I just need to show them my visa and PG work permit.
I really appreciate for your time and help.
Have a wonderful day.

1. If you finish school in Dec, your study permit will automatically stand cancelled in March. Study permit is valid for not more than 90 days after graduation date, it doesn't matter what the initial expiry date was.
2. It's advisable to apply for PGWP inside Canada.
