Hi there,

Sorry if this has already been asked!
I have only 4 more courses left of my diploma program, and have just submitted my PR application (being sponsored by my common-law partner) that should be processed in 1 year.

My question is, should I complete 4 courses in one semester and graduate at the end of this year. Or should I do 3 courses this semester and 1 course for my last semester?
If I go with the first option (4 courses this semester) I will have to apply for my PGWP while my PR application is still processing. Does anyone know if this is ok to do this? I don't want my PR application refused because I changed from my study permit to a PGWP.

If I finish over 2 semesters, my last semester I will only be doing 1 course but also only working 20 hours a week, which sounds kinda awful. However, it's likely my PR application would be approved before I even have to think about getting a PGWP, which may be easier?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
