Ok, so here is my situation. I am an international student from the US and will be completing my studies in January 2017. I have lived with my partner for over 1 year and we are applying for spousal sponsorship. I want to apply outland because it is faster and because I do not need the OWP because I qualify for a PGWP.
When I finish my studies in January, my spousal sponsorship application is going to be processing. I want to apply for a PGWP when I finish my studies, can I do this while I also have a spousal sponsorship application pending? I hope to apply for my PGWP at the border through flag polling, is there going to be a problem with doing this?
