I have a few questions.

My work visa is about to run out (March 25). I have been living in canada for over 3 years all with valid work permits. My job title has changed withing that time and my LMO came back saying i would need to have a higher pay and my work will not do that. I have been planning to apply for residency for a while.

If i send of my application before March 25th will they still allow me to work. Previously my work visa took a look time to be returned to me so i was working while the process was being completed. I was told i can contiue working until the other work visa was issued. Is this the same with the permanent residence process as i will have applied before the end of my work visa so can i stay and work till i hear from the resident process or will i have to leave the country?

Because i am applying from within canada does that change the process in anyway?

Hope you can help becasue im so stressed right now.. AAARRGGHHH

Thanks

Darren

I don't know if you can still work if you apply for PR. I think not. It's not the same thing. You should call CIC and ask them. Applying from within Canada would be different for some of the forms. You might also have different options to apply. Why are you applying under skilled worker? After 3 years in Canada, it might be simpler to apply under CEC.

Without a new LMO/Work permit you cannot continue to work. It doesn't matter that you are applying for PR.
