I need to obtain a police clearance certificate from India for application of US green card, since I lived there between the age of 15 and 25. I lived in Bangalore at the time and the address I resided at is the address I have on my passport. I left India in 2010 and my mother who lived at the aforementioned Bangalore address has since moved to another city in India (where I have never lived). She lives with my uncle (because she can’t live alone due to medical conditions) and has no address proof for where she currently resides.
What address am I to provide when I apply for Police Clearance and what documents do I need to provide?
I have tried to reach both BLS and the consulate of India here in Toronto and there appears to be no way to get in touch with them. BLS does not have a working phone number and no one picks up at the consulate.
Would appreciate advice from other folks who have experience with BLS Toronto and/or applied for PCC from India recently as a non-resident Indian.
