Applying for multiple entry visa with Post Graduate Work Permit - Now married

Hello all,

This is for my friend, she had been a student for a year from Jan 2012 to Dec 2012. Her husband is already a PR before they got married in Dec 18th 2012 back home and she came back after the wedding in Dec 25th and applied for the post graduate work permit on Jan 2013.


The problem is, while she applied for the permit the college people advised her to say she was single just not to cause complication for her permit and also applied and got the permit. Now she is applying for the multiple entry visa and the confusion is she had said she was single while applying for the permit. I suggest that she apply saying she is married since she has the marriage certification.

Would this be a problem if she says she is married now? What should she do?

Just ask her to submit certificate with a later date, after her apply date of pgwp ...simple

She already has her PGWP now she is applying for the visa, but she is worried if she should put single or married now since she said she was single during her PGWP even though she got married 2 weeks
