Applying for CEC with less than one year of being in qualified NOC position.

Hi,

I managed to find a job that qualifies under NOC A. The 12 000 cap is making me nervous and I want to put forward my application asap.

However, I will only reach my 1 year in that job position in August 2014. My question is, should I submit my application now, because technically it take 13 months for them to process and by that time I would have been in this job for a year and a half.

Unfortunately, you have to complete a year in that position before you submit your application. All the best!

By The day on which you send the application you should complete 12 momths of experience so my suggestion is to please wait and then send. There are numerous cases which got rejected due to the same.

You should only apply after you actually reach 1 year of work experience - if you apply before that, it will be rejected!

You will be rejected as soon as they see you have less than 12 months of work.

About the 12000 Cap, if it gets filled by August 2014, I don't think you have worry. Since new Cap will start from November 2014.

I feel the 12000 cap won't be reached by August, think it will be around 9000/12000 or something like that.

But if you apply without 12 months of experience, you will be rejected that is for sure.

Your application will be rejected if you don't have 1 year experience and you have to loose application fee as well
