My father has been in Alberta, Edmonton for more than 7 years. By the time he came, he has only work permit. Despite the language barrier, he tries to take the English class 7 knowledge test. Sadly up until now he cant pass the exam. He also tries the official language in our home country but he also failed. Well , I know my father knows more English than the official language back home because he live in other province that doesn't speak the official language. My home country has more than 180 dialects. I am confident that my father will pass the road test easy because he was driving back home for more than 20 years.
