Dear all,
i am an egyptian dentist, and i applied for spousal sponsorship last november, and while i'm waiting for the application to be processed, i wanted to come to canada on a visitor visa to write an exam to start the process of my degree equivalency.

do you think that i should list my wife who is the sponsor as a person i'm going to visit during my stay, or that would be a reason to deny me the visa, as it might show that i'm not planning to leave canada before my visa expiration date.

if someone have encountered the same situation before, it would be very helpful to hear about it and to find an answer to those questions.

thank you all.

Of course you need to state that you are visiting your wife. IRCC will know you have a PR app in process and will not believe you are coming here to see someone else.

There is a high chance of refusal. You will need to show extremely strong ties to your home country.
