Hello all + Thaiguy (who seems to be very knowledgable), I am a home owner and a professional real estate agent UK Citizen. 20 yrs old and looking to get a tourist visa for a few months to investigate jobs with the goal of securing one along with a work permit.
Whats the procedure for application to tourist visa?

helpful and detailed answers would gratefully recieved.

Many Thanks, Chris.

If you are a UK citizen, you don't need one. You just arrive at a port of entry, and tell them that you are here for a visit and you will probably be admitted for 6 months. Note you can't work or go to school and if you get a job offer and LMO you must apply outside Canada.

I was a landed immigrant in Toronto under my parents some 20 yrs ago.since i left canada, i have visited toronto 3 times. The last two times i have applied for a trv,the officer at Kenya post rejects my application. can anyone help suggest what to do?Can I complain to anyone regarding the officer?

There's no formal appeal process for TRVs. You just need to do a good job indicating that the purpose of your visit is only temporary.

thank u thiaguy,....i have submitted twice, all the relevant documents to that effect but he is still adamant.my work, bank account statements, proof of marriage and children.
