I'll be applying for study permit for the Winter term at the University of Saskatchewan. I understand that when applying for a study permit you are supposed to make clear your intent to return to your home country, while applying for a PR application you mention your intent to settle in Canada. My Dad has an ongoing application for PNP (Saskatchewan) and I am on it as a dependent.
My question is won't that be a contradiction, on one hand saying I intend to settle in Canada while also saying I intend to return to my home country?
I am planning to write an SOP/Letter of Explanation when I apply for my study permit.
Any tips, on what I should include?

Research about dual intent on IRCC portal you will see how to make it work.
