Applying for a PR !! Should I take IELTS exams ?

Hi All,

I have been working in Canada for the past one and a half year.

I am going to apply for PR under CEC category.

Is it mandatory to write IELTS exams ? and moreover my wife joined me in Canada only a month ago and what is the procedure to apply for a pr for her also ?

Plz guide.

Yes - IELTS is mandatory. You include your wife on your application.
