Applying for 18 month pgwp extension under new policy while Bowp and PR is under process

Hi folks,

My pgwp is expiring on aug 20, 2022. I received the ITR/AOR( through PNP) in feb 2022 and i applied for bowp extension in Apr 2022. My PR and BOWP are under process.

Should i apply for new 18 month work permit extension under new policy? I don't want to confuse the IRCC with 2 work permit extension applications.

You can apply for the extension under the new policy. Best way is to flagpole, and withdraw bridge work permit application. If you choose not to, thats fine you can keep both two work permits until decision on your PR or expiry of wp.
