I am an American citizen. I married my husband, a Canadian citizen, this past saturday. I am just starting to fill out all the necessary paperwork etc. I have one question. Do I have to wait until I receive the marriage certificate to apply as a spouse, or can I use my Record of Solemnization of Marriage? Thanks in advance.

Use the Record of Solemnization of Marriage and state that you will send a copy of the marriage certificate when it is received.

A quick question:

Does a spouse also have to get there education credential evaluation done. As the principal applicant has already done the evaluation for self through WES. So does the spouse also have to do the same through WES or is there other alternatives to it.

You should ask this in the FSW part of the forum. This is the Family Class part - sponsored spouses don't get evaluated.
