I am in US now and got an opportunity to work in Canada, hence stared the process to apply for Work permit by living in US. my current I94 is expiring in Apr 2018, have applied for an extension for same. Maxout is in 2019. will I be allowed to apply for work permit considering my current I94 expiring in next two months. plz advise. My work permit category falls in High skilled specialized knowledge and believe I might get LMIA exempt as the wage package touch around 98K.
