Apply ontario PNP from another province

I am a PhD student in Ontario and will defend my thesis next month. Recently, I got a post-doc job offer from UBC. I am very interested in this position and would like to move to Vancouver after finishing my PhD study. Can l apply for the Ontario PNP program as a PhD graduate after moving to BC? NO, you have to reside and work in Ontario in order to get OPNP

Thank you very much for your reply. I checked ontarioimmigration.ca and it says that "Ontario international PhD students may apply for the program from within Canada or from overseas". I am sorry that I cannot post urls. If you google "PhD Ontario PNP", it should be easy to find the webpage which I mentioned.

I guess it means that for Ontario PhD graduates it may be possible to apply OPNP from other provinces in Canada or even from overseas. Does anyone know whether my understanding is correct? Thanks a lot.
