Hi guys i am new to this forum.
I am currently compiling docs to apply under NOC 2121 which is filled up till 427 apps as of 13 DEC 2011. I think I will be in a good position to mail the app next week to CIO Sydney. Do you think its still worth applying or should I wait and apply July next year.
This is a dilemma since some docs (police clearances, photographs etc ) will be too old if I go through with it now only to find out that the cap is reached.
Seniors Please Help.
Thanks.

If I'm the one who is applying and have the dilemma same as yours... I'll go ahead and submit my application as soon as possible, even the chance of not reaching the cap on time is imminent. Even I have to waste some money for the application fee (which maybe returned or not). PCC and photographs are just minor things, I can get it anytime. I'll take it as my personal adventure. Who knows what other benefit it will give me even they return my application because of CAP reached. 8) ;D :P

But it's your decision. ;)

Hey,
thanks for the reply,
Ya i am thinking the same, to apply as soon as possible. But if there is 0% chance of falling under cap then... this makes me think again. What do you say is there any chance of falling under cap ??

Here's the application received development for NOC 2121.

July 23 - 5
July 31 - 22
August 4 - 26
August 11 - 27
August 22 - 50
September 6 - 69
September 13 - 93
September 20 - 103
September 27 - 120
October 3 - 135
October 11 - 161
October 18 - 178
October 31 - 218
November 10 - 261
November 15 - 269
November 17 - 280
November 23 - 294
November 29 - 332
December 5 - 365
December 8 - 392
December 13 - 427

From September 6 to October 3 (one month) it increased by 66
From October 3 to November 10 (one month) it increased by 126
From November 10 to December 13 (one month) it increased to about 166

If you put the increase per week to 40, then by December 27, 2011 the CAP will be reached.

You make your own computation and assessment. ;)

Hey what the heck, I'll just apply and see whether it reaches before cap or not. It's just that the amount of work and energy required to gather docs fill apps and then the pressure of caps limit approaching sometimes gets to you. I am sure you know what i mean :). Good luck for your app and GOD help me. Hope i make it in the cap 8)

Just thoroughly review your docs and forms. An applicant forgot to put his Visa Office on the form and his application was rejected and returned. Review 5 to 10 times. ;D

I have sent my application yesterday. As far as I know, the section where to put the visa office is the one at the Generic Appl. Form, where it is required. Is that you are talking about? Or should it be another way to send further detais about VO?

Please clarify.

Thnx,
