For those who don't know, I'm originally from Pakistan. Have been working in Sri Lanka (after studying in Malaysia) and now my work visa expires in a few weeks. I was admitted for MBA programs in Ontario beginning Aug 2013. I've got two options now:
OPTION 1: Go Back to PK
It'll be a relatively simple procedure. However, cons are, I have no place to stay, my family is in Sri-L. So I will have to spend money to get room/hotel something for who knows how long. It could be 2 months, could be 4 months. I have no transport either, so it'll be a bit problematic and expensive, since got no job either.
OPTION 2: Stay is Sri Lanka
I can register for CFA classes in Sri Lanka. It's a cheap course (300 dollars), runs 1 year and I can then stay on under study permit. In affect, I will be transitioning from Sri-Lanka work visa to Sri-Lanka study visa. The CFA course runs from May 2013-2014. Of course, my plan will be to attend classes and apply for Canadian study visa. My MBA program in Canada starts in August, so at that point I will simply fly out of Sri Lanka. Processing time is also less than PK (supposedly)
My questions are: Which option do you think I should choose and why?
And if I choose option 2 (who doesn't wanna live at home?), will that affect my Canada study permit chances when I apply from Sri Lanka?
Thanks everyone, I'm dying to get some advice.
