Hi,
I am Natasha, currently residing in India. I would like to immigrate to Canada and have a few doubts on the best way to go about it. I would like to do a Masters course as well. Is it a better option to try for Permanent Residency, immigrate to Canada and then apply for colleges/universities, or apply for a student visa and then get PR?

Others can comment well but obviously if you qualify now for express entry then finance wise and time wise that would likely be the best option given for a start you would pay domestics fees for a course not international fees.

Taking the study permit route, followed by a PGWP to get Canadian work experience then apply for PR then in around 4 years would be the expectation to get PR that route.

See how many points you might get now given currently need in region of 470, although alternatively there are PNP programs but depends on your qualifications and work experience

Student visa only. PR applications shall be made only! from within Canada. This does not guarantee anything, but it helps you avoid some problems that you will have to face choosing the other route. I will not explain the details, here the theme gets deleted for providing such explanations.
