Apply for post graduation work permit while waiting for PR card?

Just need some clarification since I new to the immigration stuff.

I just became a landed immigrant few weeks ago (was an international student) and I will be graduating soon. Do I still need to apply for PGWP while waiting for the PR card?

Note: I still have a valid off campus work permit but will expire in a few months.

If you have landed, then no - you don't need to apply for a PGWP (you actually no longer qualify). Just go and get your SIN (social insurance number) and start working.
