Hi everyone, I'm an international student from Hong Kong graduated this summer. Instead of PGWP, I applied for an OWP for Hong Kong residents under a public policy, which serve the same purpose as PGWP. But later I realized the HK OWP doesn't grant you maintained status and specifically say that you can work after submitting the application like the PGWP. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to submit another application of PGWP when my OWP is in progress so that I can start working, and in case the OWP takes too long and exceed the 180 days buffer of the study permit (end of 2021, even though the expiry date is mid 2022). Or perhaps a visitor record would be better?
