Hi i´m Pedro i´m Portuguese (27) i´m working in canada and i have a work visa but i just cant work for my company.

I just need to know if i cant apply for a Open work visa and what i need.

It doesn't sound like you qualify for an open work permit. Why do you think you qualify for an open work permit?

If you want to work for a different employer, your new employer will need to obtain a new approved LMO and then you will have to apply for a new closed work permit.

I'm a scaffolder i cant get the open permit or is more easy apply for a closed visa?
I like to live and work in canada and bring my wife but i dont know what to do.
Thanks

How long have you been working for the current employer (in canada)?

Why don't you keep working for current employer for another 4 months and then apply under Canadian experience class for PR and be a canadian.

Not sure his job is classified as "skilled". He needs to have a skilled job to qualify for CEC.

Yes - if it's skilled and also a full time job, then you can apply for PR through CEC after you have completed 12 months of work.

No. To qualify to an open work permit, you need to meet other requirements.

For example, you would qualify for an open work permit if you were sponsored for PR by your Canadian citizen or PR spouse using the inland process and had received stage 1 approval.

You would also qualify for an open work permit if you applied for PR through Canadian Experience Class and your application had passed the AOR stage of processing.
