hi i am a contract worker and i been working for two years as a food counter attendant and promoted as a food service supervisor,
can i apply now as Canadian experience class? or when can apply for that? and what will i need if i can apply it already. thanks and have a Good day!

No, for CEC, your two years of work experience in Canada have to be at the "skilled" level (NOC O, A or B). Food counter attendant is not a skilled occupation.

However, your new position IS classified as a skilled occupation. If you have a valid work permit, and your employer will provide you with a written offer of permanent employment upon obtaining permanent resident status, you MIGHT qualify now under the Federal Skilled Workers program, category 2, Arranged Employment.

You would have to meet the eligibility requirements (at least one year of previous skilled work experience, 67 points). Otherwise, you could apply after one year as a supervisor, under category 3.

If you qualify to apply as an FSW (1 year skilled work experience at some point in the past in whatever country and 67 or more points on self assessment), you could apply under category 3 right now as somebody who has been working in Canada for 12 months or more.

For CEC, if you have a new work permit to suit your new skilled position, you can apply through CEC after 2 years of doing that.
