Applied under CEC in last week of Dec 14, not sure if its accpeted under CEC?

HI,

Received my IELTS score on 26th Dec and sent application which reached on 31st Dec 14 at CIC office in Nova Scotia.

I'm not sure if I'll be accepted under CEC? Is their a way to know that? Or I'd have to reapply under EE?

Suggest?

In terms of next steps, what do I need to look for? AOR etc...? Is their a way to check if my application went through?

There is no way to check ur application went through until you receive AOR.
If u submitted the payment though CC , check your card for the transaction
if submitted Bank draft , check with the bank guys for the status.its around 4 months for getting aor in these days .

So long time for AOR !! :P :P :P

Hopefully...CIC will speed up process !!
 
Same here, my application reached Sidney on December 31st, 2014.

I read somewhere that a person applied in January 2013 got his pr until December. He received his first answer mid February I believe so I was hoping to that too.

Anyways, if I can't check the status of my application without AOR, what after I receive it. How to check the status then?

I am checking my visa daily hoping they will withdraw the money (and start the process) :)
 
it wii be 10 weeks roughly before they take payment give or take, then it another 6 to 7 weeks later before you will get aor.
