I just want to share my experience with you.
I applied outland and wanted to wait my PR in canada.
Now i am in WPG ( Winterpeg).
if you look it up my previous post, my case was kinda complicated and I was worried.
As followed some advices, I brought photocopy of my plane ticket of last visit, marriage certificate and family relationship (translated and notarized), our daughter's birth certificate etc.
After the plane landed, we took our time for our daughter so we were the last people who got off the plane.
our custom officer was middle aged chinese man, we handed over our passports and he asked couple of questions like what is the purpose of this visit and how long we would stat etc.
I asked him to show my round ticket, but he did not want.
he stamped on my passport and told if i want to stay longer , I need to renew visitor status or apply sponsorship ( i did not tell him i already applied outland and want to wait in Canada)
I only answered whatever he asked me.
That was the easiest and fastest process ever and to be honest, I think (maybe my husband too) thanks to our daughter, he did not ask many question or have suspicion.
Also, I choose word carefully, we said VISIT not LIVE and we put our address in Korea as permanent address on custom form.
Gotta say, we realized we were in Canada when everyone was so nice and helpful when we struggled with our luggages and baby.
