I didn't know they charge your credit card when they issue the AOR. So the money wasnt on my CC until i realized last week.

What happens if they try and charge your CC and the payment doesnt go through? Do they reject your app?

Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm half frustrated at myself for not realizing and half petrified that i'm about to be rejected.

Someone please help!

Yes, declined transaction = your application is returned, but after only a month, it's likely they hadn't attempted to charge your CC yet.

It seems everyone who applied around the same as me has already received their AOR's and had their credit cards charged.

Thanks for the info, i'll prepare for the worst :(

Do they give the transaction only one chance to go through? Or perhaps they give it a few days and try again? Not sure what the protocol is here.

But yes, the 'up front' payment options are clearly better (bank draft or money order).

Bank draft money is taken out of your account as soon as you purchase the draft, so you will never have an issue with having available funds.
