I applied for visitor visa on OCT 25th from Canada but I have not heard back. Currently I have post graduate work permit but I need to travel out of Canada? has this happened to any one? any idea what is going on?

No, TRVs have a 1 week processing time I think.... maybe you should call and enquire

I did they keep saying they are doing CHECKs.... I know they are doing background check but this is being brutal

The wired part is that my friend applied after me and he got it a few weeks ago.. We are both from the same country
