Applied for canada visitor visa ( they ask for proof of relationship)

Hii guys
I have applied for canada visitor visa and after verification they ask for proof of relationship. I have my uncle's sponsor letter. Now they are asking for relationship with uncle ( he is my mothers cousin).

Is it ok that sponsored person just write on a paper proof of relationship and then do the notary in canada.
Or I have to prove relationship from India

Your mother's cousin is also your cousin, not your uncle. If you declared him as your uncle in your app, that was misrepresentation.

No, a letter is not acceptable. They want birth certificates proving the relationship. For an actual uncle, that is simple, as he and your mother would just provide their birth certificates showing the same parents. Not so simple for her cousin.
