Applied for a visa from Turkey since 33 days

Hello,​

I need help from you please. I have applied for a visitor visa in Turkey on paper at VFS global and I linked to my CIC account and shows under processing. It takes till today 33 days since applying.
Is that late normal? Is it because I have applied in country which I am not citizen of?
I need help. Thank you.​
