Applied for 4 year why 1 year VISA ?

dont worry frnd of mine also got one year visa he also applied for 4 yr program in (simon fraser university)....
if I am not wrong i think u choose pathway progrm thats y ...u can extend ur visa ...

Yes i applied for pathway program but will there be any problem in extension ? Because i decide to change my University transfer Program II to University transfer program I.

1. Your "visa" is not your study permit. The visa is TRV to admit you to Canada, so unless you applied for a multiple entry, it is valid for 1 entry. When you arrive at the Port of Entry then you will be issued your study permit, which will probably be valid for 4 years and 3 months. If you wish to travel in/out after arriving, you will have to apply for a new TRV.
