Hi guys,

- Applied for study permit from Germany
- Applied on 20th August
- Eligibility review started 29th September

For Germany the processing times currently take 17 weeks and I'll be at exactly 20 weeks of waiting tomorrow.

My DLI has been on the corona readiness list since 12th January and my courses are supposed to start on 26th January.

I provided more than enough funds and made clear in my motivational letter that I am going to leave Canada after my studies. Biometrics were done about year ago (they are valid for 10 years) but I didn't attach them in my new application since I already did so in a previous application but they should be able to easily see it, don't they? So far, so good..

I also filled out a web form stating my studies are going to start on 26th this month.

I am a little nervous now. Maybe they haven't processed my application since my DLI hadn't been on the corona approved list until 12th January?
Is it likely they can approve the visa next week and I can travel to Canada, start my courses online in quarantine and then attend college? Or do I definitely need to defer to May intake?

Many thanks in advance guys,

Best regards!
