Hi , i am an online applicant for a Study Permit. my citizenship is ''palestinian authority'' but i was born in the United Arab Emirates. i just finished High School, i am applying Online via the IRCC Website. and in the supporting documents and optional, it did not ask for a Study Plan, however, i have seen that this letter is very important and can sometimes be grounds for refusal, should i be worried? or upload one via the IRCC Webform?

The letter is crucial especially for your complicated residence status. The missing letter is never a cause of rejection by itself, but all issues about being a bonafide student can only be addressed in that letter.

my travel document clearly shows my residency status in the UAE, as i do have a residency. and my citizenship is stated on the travel document itself. as it is described that the holder of this travel document is a palestinian. it is not a UAE passport. and about being a genuine student, i have stated my school years and name of school in the Application Form ( IMM 1294 ).

That's not enough you need to explain how this study makes sense in your education/career progression and how you will use it in your home country once you complete it. You also need to explain why you chose canada out of all the available places to study.

thing is, it was never mentioned on their site, and its not in their requirements. which left me very confused. and the application is now submitted. will it even be accepted as additional documents if i upload via WebForm? i am really confused of whether i should do it or not. some people did it some people not. in my case. it was never mentioned on any supporting documents neither optional. and i am a high school graduate. not much of info could be added. i am willing to build a file just in case.

Myself and many of my friends got our applications approved very quickly WITHOUT a Study Plan.
Opposite to popular believes, not having a Study Plan is not a valid reason for rejection. And not everyone has to explain why they want to study in Canada, why they choose the course, etc.

For reference, I am from Vietnam and I was a high school graduate applying for a Bachelor degree at Carleton University.
I did NOT submit a Study Plan. I followed the required documents section in my online application strictly, and nowhere did it include Study Plan. So I didn't submit one.
After that, I was worried because many people on this forum said that I will be refused without it. But then, I got approved in only 16 days with no issues.
All be it, I was applying under SDS and I have a strong academic record, strong travel history, and the progession from high school to bachelor degree at university is a perfectly reasonable one and did not need any explaining.

Because you are from Vietnam and your visa office instruction of Vietnam do not include it . The ones who have Abu dhabi Visa office its in their instruction have Study plan
