First post so please go easy on me. Sorry I tried searching the forums but I could not find an answer. My girlfriend has been in Canada since March 2015 and we plan on her staying here until at least March 2016 to ensure we have achieved the 12 month requirement for common-law status with CIC. Is there anyway I can submit my sponsorship application prior to her being technically common-law. I would like to avoid an extra two month wait(for my application to be a sponsor) with her PRC application.

Thanks in advance!

nope not unless you marry her.Welcome !!

Only way to submit your application right away is to marry, then get a marriage certificate, then apply.

The seniors said it all if you don't wanna wait for the two months and l say welcome to the forum where people assist one another to be successful, good luck.
