Hey guys - I was wondering if you could share you experience. Our application is taking longer than anticipated...I am from New Delhi office, and applicants that have applied prior to us have recieved their visas.

So, the only thing (I'm guessing) that could be holding our application back is the fact I have spent time in Canada (Student, Worker and Visitor). I am guessing (and I have read somewhere) that they might cross-check data from previous application for accuracy or discrepancy. Perhaps FOSS notes??

Has anyone have any idea or thoughts...appreciate it, thanks in advance!

The delay for your BC is for the reason what you already mentioned - your early visits and working in Canada. Any how, there is no problem if you send a case specific enquiry to let you know the status.

They have all applications stored in database. I'm sure this doesn't take a long time to access these files. Shouldn't be much longer.

Minku,

I will suggest that if you are worried about canadian stay may cause delay then your wife should contact Member of Parliament here in canada and they can ask where the stopages in file. This worth to try if its delay from here.

Thanks

I like kunal's idea. Inquiries made by the MP's office will be taken seriously and will give u guys the true picture. At least the anxiety level will come down, if nothing else. It won't hurt, give it a shot! Good Luck.
