Application Submitted on 24/06/2010

My consultant has submitted my application from Toronto through registered official post on 24/06/2010 and I am not sure whether it has been received to the central office by 26/06/2010 or after. I am an Accountant and have been working as Managing/ Financial Director for last 5 years.
My consultant is saying that as the application is submitted through official registered post (not through private courier) so it will assumed to be received at the submission date and will be processed under old rules. He is quite confident about it, but I am extremely nervous. I live in UK and applied to Canadian Immigration as I thought that Canada welcomes people irrespective of race/ colour etc and there is better record of social justice.

Any idea when I will get confirmation that what will happen to my application?

You will have to wait, I dont think they will take the postage date be it Canada Post or some courier company. Hope for the best. All are watching what CIC is going to do with the applications received after 26th Jun 10.

kindly keep ready with the new process / rules after 26 June. In case the application is bounced back you would have the new one in hand to dicpatched.

Any idea, when things will be cleared. I mean when we will know whether the application is being considered or rejected as late application.
