Application status

Hi
How can I track application status - under following situation

I submitted application on 15th Aug 2017 for my dependent child and application reached on 17th Aug 2017
Till now I haven;t heard anything. Any idea when I can get some response on my application

Within 6-8 weeks youll get a file
Number and you can use that to track it on ecas and gckey
