Application Status

Hi,

I have been receiving mails from MyCIC that my profile has been updated and suggests me to review the application. However, on logging in there is no change in the application status.

I applied for the visa on last Friday and since then the status says 'Open' with no further change in it.

Request you to guide me on how to review and where to make changes (if any is required).

This sounds to be the famed Ghost Email.

I have applied for visitor visa, less than 6 months. I have a valid US visa. I applied on last Friday i.e. 13th Nov'15 and have not received any update till date. As in I receive those mails but there is no change in my profile. What could be the possible reason.

Ask in the visitor forum.

It probably means nothing other than a VO has accessed/looked at your application. Do check your spam/other email folder.

"Ghost" emails are a fairly frequent occurrence with MyCic.
